  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It's finally ready for you guys to play with:

http://www.crimsonworkflow.com/

Been a long haul for me. I want to thank all of you guys for your support and encouragement, though I am not nearly done. I especially want to thank Mark Pederson of Offhollywood Digital for his constant support, without this guy I this would not have been possible. Chris Lyon of RedRelay.net fame, is the man behind our spiffy website, more awesomeness from this guy very soon, when he shoots on Red this summer. John Eremic and Lee Nussbaum of Offhollywood provided much needed technical advice and support.

Much more information, instructions, features and builds coming from me... Very soon... While you sleep...

Nice work - thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Ian!

Directions?

Directions?

Hi guys,

This looks great and sounds great. I don't know a single person that would not gladly pay for this program. Any info on those directions on how to use it though?

The link on the crimson site for directions just goes to a sparsely filled out redhax page.

Holy crap! Way to go. We'll beat the heck out of it pretty soon.

I noticed that using REDline --printMeta option gets the correct frame rates, I hacked up a little Python script (not that I really know Python) that gets all the Metadata with REDline and makes an REDCINE XML of it. But the XML didn't import when I tested it and I haven't revisited that (mind you I couldn't even import the XML into REDCINE that I had just exported from REDCINE).

awesome! Ummm... how do I use it Ian...

Looks very promising!! Can't find the proper instructions though...

Amazing!

Gonna try out and if it works well then will purchase a full activation key.

how to use instructions?

how to use instructions?

ibloom when are you planning to post the "help"- instructions for crimson?
I try to get there but the file is empty.
Thnx
Panos
