  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Camera Locked Up

Maybe Jim remotely activated the "Jay is complaining too much, let's relax him a bit" function from his secret panel inside the bunker at RED? :-)

Jay, when you hear the siren coming out of the vents and see the 30 second countdown start rolling down on the back screen, turn around and run like hell.
 
May I suggest THE "must have" Red accessory...

Ahh.. ok.. I was wondering what that was.....

I had not read your post when it happened so I just peed on the camera and it stopped.

I've sent it to you for repair. When you pick it up... Use towels.

ah.. that explains the smell. I guess i should tell the techs to skip the lick test.

It is a computer, and these tend to lock up occasionally...especially when running Beta builds.

Simply pull all power, what 10 seconds, connect back to power and restart.
 
red is the most unorganized company in the history of camera development and no one cannot say that is not the truth

like red say you get what you pay for

I build computers Greg.. I understand them. Getting it working was not the problem, I simply felt it was my responsibility to let RED know it happened.

If I get "stuck" I don't post it here.. I call support on the phone
