I had previously installed the REDCODE loader 1.7 under Leopard 5.8, and it worked like a top. But I deactivated my CS4, did a complete reformat of my system drive and upgraded to Snow Leopard. After that I reinstalled CS4, upgraded to the latest version of everything, and reinstalled the red loader v 1.7. Now, however, I do not have any of the RED presets when starting a new project. I seem to be able to import R3D files, but I'd like to have the presets available. Also, I think I used to have HDV presets which seem not to be there now as well.

I've searched these forums and it seems like several other people have had similar problems. But I can't find a solution. This is just an effort to bump it back to the top of the list and see if anybody's found out what causes this and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, just an update. In the Utility Folder I found the Adobe Uninstallers. From there I uninstalled all CS4 3rd Party Apps. Then, when I reinstalled the plugin, after a little while I got a popup stating that additional codecs needed to be installed, or some such thing. After that, all my presets reappeared.

The whole thing seems a little hinky, but it's working now, so I guess I'm happy. If anybody at Red (or Adobe) could figure out why this happens, I'm sure it would be a greatly appreciated by a fair number of folks.
