Hi everyone, my first post but I'm following the community for a while...

Now a problem... :)
I've got some RED footage to pass in Final Cut Studio 3, so I've downloaded the RED Final Cut Studio Installer v20.0.0, but when it comes to choose the drive where install to, I get an error about Javascript.

I've got an iMac 27" with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on a 80GB SSD (+ 1TB backup drive), i've installed the last Java Update downloaded from the apple site (Java for Mac OSX Update 1), but nothing works.
I've correctly installed the RED FINAL CUT STUDIO 2 INSTALLER and it worked, but RED FINAL CUT STUDIO 3 INSTALLER doesn't work...

Any help? I can't edit ProRes 4444 with the RED FINAL CUT STUDIO 2 INSTALLER, only 422... and beside that, I want to figure it out why I can't install the Studio 3 version....

Best regards,
Filippo

Filippo: Hm, never seen that error. The best way to solve this is to use Pacifist to install the .mpkg: http://www.charlessoft.com/

Another idea, try doing the following:
1) right click .mpkg and "Show Package Contents" - then go to Contents/Packages and install the redfcpplugin.pkg and REDCODE sys preg.pkg.
2) Download and install the new color plugin Luca suggested.
3) Download the V3.9 quicktime plugin and install that.
