I'd like it to be more the merrier, but as you can imagine, this could spiral out of control if a lot of people were to show up unexpected. The initial list will give us an idea of how many Redusers will be there and we'll know if we have to add another suite or not. It also helps with food/drink plans as well, and of course seating for the workflow event.

IMO you have to expect a certain per cent # of others .. think about how many party's you have attended and we not invited ? you see a friend and they tell you to meet up at such & such party at X hotel ... or a company that has one Red has 5 empolyee's attending NAB and they never post/look here on Redusers but over hear about the party around the Red booth ?

it just seems you get more unexpected guest when you have party in a suite vs. at a bar area at x hotel/resturant ....

There are many "Invite Only Parties" at NAB. This could easily get out of control, and then insurance, firecode and general stupidity issues come in to play.....not that REDUSERs are prone to trouble, but it is Vegas.......lol

I do understand the spontaneity of parties, and I would like to open it to the public, but as John mentioned, it opens us up to insurance issues, and I want to make sure some of our guests who will be there with expensive gear are never jeopardized. Depending on how much the list grows, I may be able to have some open slots available on the list, so that additional guests could check in on a first come, first serve basis. Again, depends on the numbers.

Those who have RSVP'd will be receiving confirmation emails soon.

Steve, Consider this my RSVP until or unless there is an official signup process in place. Also, I am going through the NAB show on the 15th and expect to be done with my wanderings early enough to help with the room/guest-list control. Let me know if you need anyone to help with that.
