  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fs: Mojo Dna = $699

Analogue one, or SDI?

It's the SD version.

"Analogue" doesn't really apply hear-this is a digital non-linear accelerator with the these features:

* Real-time DV output to tape with real-time 2D and 3D DVE
* Adds ability to deal with uncompressed 601 media
* Real-time video monitoring, analog-DV and DV-analog conversion, and
uncompressed graphics and titles (via analog output)
* Frame accurate output to tape
* Multi-channel audio punch-in with low-latency monitoring
* 20-bit analog audio input and output
* Genlock synchronization to black burst on both analog and digital ports
* Component i/0, composite i/o

I meant is it the older analogue IO version (featuring Composite, Component and S-Video only) or the newer 'Mojo SDI' with SDI input. From your description there it seems to be the older Analogue model.

I think you're under the impression that the SDI version is meant to be a replacement for the SD version. They meet different editing needs. The SD versions sells for $1695 and the SDI version for $2495. Here are the differences:

MOJO DNA SD features:

* Real-time DV output to tape with real-time 2D and 3D DVE
* Adds ability to deal with uncompressed 601 media
* Real-time video monitoring, analog-DV and DV-analog conversion, and
uncompressed graphics and titles (via analog output)
* Frame accurate output to tape
* Multi-channel audio punch-in with low-latency monitoring
* 20-bit analog audio input and output
* Genlock synchronization to black burst on both analog and digital ports

MOJO DNA SDI features:

*Serial digital video
*I/O for IEEE-1394
*Component or composite and S-video.
*Up to 8 channels of embedded audio over SDI
*2 channels of optical S/PDIF audio
* additional connections for 4 channels of AES/EBU audio

It all depends on your particular needs. I for one don't like paying for extra features that are irrelevant to my work flow.

I was only trying to establish whether you were selling the Mojo or Mojo SDI as you said 'Mojo SD' which is not the correct name for either product, and not descriptive between the two (as both are Standard Definition only).

If it were the SDI version, I may have been interested, but now we've established it's not.
