So ... I had a rather exciting meeting today with Imagineer Systems.

You will want to check these guys out at NAB - they have SOMETHING(S) NEW that are crazy exciting ...

We are involved and/or on the inside track of a bunch of cool stuff coming out of the bag at NAB - so, I will be sure to make an official OFFHOLLYWOOD'S MUST SEE AT NAB 2008 post the week before - Imagineer Systems is high on that list!!

Come on Mark, spill the beans out friend. NAB is close enough that they'll think it was there all the information was learned as opposed to you leaking it just days before. So, make a list of all new things coming down, with pertinent details and relevance and post it here. Come on!

Sounds interesting.
The pricing at $10.000 a month will certainly not work for most customers.
For agency/commercial jobs however this could be a really cool niche.

The server is much less expensive. And that is the killer app here.

yes to standalone - I know the price but should leave that up to Allen to announce.

As Final Cut Pro Server is "tuned" to work with Final Cut - Mogul server is "tuned" to work with every single high-end professional system on every platform.

For the record, I have not seen it yet - had a very long meeting with Allen at the site of our new facility discussing it, and discussing what our plans were - and I grilled him with questions - so, let's just say after the initial RED madness - Imagineer will be one of my first stops at NAB.
