Hey, I'm using a laptop portegé m400 tablet pc, and for some reason redcine displays the workspace window completely blank on this system - it's fine on my desktop workstation (geforce 7900) - any idea what might be causing this? Is there any way round it?

Also is it possible to have redcine span two monitors and have one just display the footage?

ALSO - I'm working on a 46" sony bravia 1080p monitor at 1920x1080 resolution, and for some peculiar reason, even when you set the redcine project to 1920x1080 and set the shots to scale to that resolution, the image viewed at 100% appears to be slightly larger than 1920x1080 - it looks about 2k ish but it's hard to tell. It's very strange - anyone else run into this?

Cheers,
R.

whats gfx card in the M400 ?

Spanning nope.. not as yet.. single screen app.

Bravia> as second monitor via ??
It's a TV .. overscan ?

graphics card = intel piece of shit.

Bravia via dvi--->hdmi

the bravia displays 1:1 pixels - there's no overscan.

in afterfx or photoshop, for example, a 1080p image fits the screen perfectly.

incidentally the tv cost 1600 bucks in best buy. Well worth it!

the resolution thing was actually me being stoopid - the other stuff...

hmm... it bugs me big-time that I can't get redcine to run on this laptop... is that just tough luck or what?
