Looking to rent Charger and Batteries

HI Guys,

I'm wondering if anyone out there is willing to rent out a charger along with 2 RED brick batteries for a two week feature film shoot Feb 22 to March 7. I'm finding it tricky to rent those sorts of accessories piecemeal when you aren't renting the entire camera package ...

any thoughts?

Even the big ones? I've never tried but that surprises me. I understand why an individual owner operator might not. Without their power packs, their whole kit might be out of commission, but I'd think big rental houses would have plenty to spare.

I have yet to find a big rental house in Toronto that will rent individual parts without the whole camera. The story is always that they only have one set of accs for each camera, or if they have spares, they are backups for the people renting the whole camera.

You can try an individual owner who knows they won't have any shoots during the time you need batteries, but if you are doing that Emily, I would suggest that it might be difficult for individual owners to trust you as someone who has just registered, and ignored the Real Name policy, which is the first thing, in bold, listed in the forum rules when you register:
