Hi all. . .
Jaime Valles and I are experiencing a delay with the shipment of our RED #791. I'm curious of any of the rest of you are in the same boat, or if we are just unlucky.
It has been over two weeks since we sent in our final wire transfer, but we're still told that "your order has been picked, but we're having some QC issues" or whatever the line is that particular day. First is was "we're having trouble with some of the bottom/top plates." Then it was "we ran out of items for the basic production pack." Then it was "we're only able to process so many shipments a day." Then it was something else (I can't remember exactly). Today it is "we're having some alignment issues with the sensors."
Since RED is now accepting payment for shipments up to #1250, we are curious if anyone else is getting this sort of RED-runaround. Don't get us wrong, we want our camera to arrive in great shape, but it seems to me that we've been getting one line after the next.
Just let us know your experiences.
Sincerely,
Stephen
