  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

how long does it take today to get a RED ONE?

Is the Time table moved up??? I ordered my two RED's in December 2007 and was told I would have them MAY 2008??

Wow.. that's shocking... the last time there was made a "Best scenerio schedule" I had my hopes up for June. But maybe now somewhere at the end of april?

Must be really going well with the production. Great News!!
 
I hope you guys aren't just sitting on your ass waiting?... Aren't you suppose to write or something? Or I dunno... Just teasing ;P

The tought of a couple of thousand film geeks walking in circles in their flat, waiting, impatients, surfing on the Red website everyday as if suddenly there would be a change or something... It's pretty funny! And creepy too... Someone who got their camera should make a short about not having it yet...

Explain something Karim, you got Red #1407 already? So you're thinking about ordering a second one?

Are you sure you don't have a camera in my flat ? You just described what im doing.

Lol...so many people just itching to get their hands on this! The RED team is doing an amazing job keeping up with this sort of demand.

I'm actually a bit confused about the delivery schedule now. According to the FAQ,

2001-2700 begin shipping in May
2700+ begin shipping in June

I bet the reservations today are at least in the high 3000's now or even 4000, so how could someone who orders a RED today receive it by May? Has the schedule changed?

In the FAQ, they would have shipped 500 camera's in April, Jim just said a "Yes" to more then 500 in april. More could be 600? 700?

I don't see people posting with camera's around the 4000.
So maybe there aren't that many orders yet.

yeah Lewis we ordered two bodies and we expect to to have them this month,
and were planning to buy 2 more
 
a 3000+ in may? i don´t think so, i am close over 2000 and i plan for mid may to get it.
