Has anyone who has received their camera tried to get a stripped down kit into a Lowepro pro trekker AWii or the like?
I'm keen to have the option to walk onto a plane with the whole kit safely on my back. It would also make for easier mobility when 'on the hoof'
The camera height looks like it will fit snugly - the question remains - how much of the rest of a 'stripped down' kit will fit in the bag.

Hi Steve,

Steve Gibby and Curran Gidden use the Tamrac 5258. Curran has pictures at his website http://www.solarsystemstudio.com. Look on his blog in the photos section. Steve Gibby has some pictures somewhere here as well.

edit* thanks OZMA for the link.

I use a Lowepro pro trekker AWi with a Sony FX1 and a macbookpro, i test it in real RAW condition (i do do the ascension of the Fujiyama by night). During the climb of, i was on continus very hard rain during 4 hours and all may stuff was perfectly dry.

I recommended this bagpack.

I just received the computrekker plus AW and it's going back. camera area too small and hard fitted for an SLR so I couldn't even set it up to go flag.

I guess I'll try Gibby's bag. I'm looking for something that will also be a carry on.
