Whenever I try to start up Redcine on my laptop (it's a Dell 1210) it crashes before it gets passed the splash screen. It had been working and I could transcode files without a problem (granted I haven't used it all that much), but suddenly this problem. I tried reinstalling it but no dice. Any ideas on what else I could try?

Is your's built with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 or with the
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400?

I believe that only the GeForce is supported by RedCine.

It's got the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400. That should be fine shouldn't it?

It should, what OS are you running?

I'm running Windows XP SP2.

I did a search for RedCine and erased everything connected to the program (I don't think PC's have library folders like Macs, but I did erase everything with redcine in the name).

Then I downloaded the software again, installed it and it worked! I was getting worried.
