Please note that a new version of REDCINE is available on www.red.com/support .

NEW FEATURES:
* Updated Noise Reduction algorithm.
* Optimized playback performance.

FIXES:
* Fixed an issue with QuickTime files only rendering the first frame for the entire duration.
* Fixed an issue with REDCINE crashing when source files could not be found.
* Fixed an issue with backward compatibility in Projects.
* Fixed an issue with white dots appearing on images at full resolution decodes.
* Fixed an issue with memory usage in the decode.
* Fixed an issue with REEL IDs not being written into DPX headers.
* Fixed an issue with SHARPEN not maintaining its value.
* Fixed an issue with X and Y offsets not being rendered out properly.

Thanks, BC

Sweet...

Hope this helps fix some of my problems.

Great! Thanks! This version fixed some of my export problems. :)

But one of the bugs still remains: when I try to export to QuickTime from a clip which is not the first one (by setting IN and OUT) I still get a freeze frame movie of a single frame in the first clip. There's no such problems with other output formats.

Not working... where's my error?
- Downloaded
- Trashed the old version included what I had in Library (as I done for any new REDcine version untill now)
- unzipped & copied REDcine (Build 90) into Application
- double click on program icon -> few seconds of black screen -> crashed...

-> REDcine log/setting structure is not rebuilded in the Library.

It's a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.5.2 and QT 7.4.1 (14) and everything was working fine untill this upgrade... What's wrong?

Thx for help.

Carlo

I didn't trash anything. Just copied the new RedCine app to the applications folder and started it. No problems at all.

Do you login as the administrator?

Time Of Day T/C in DPX Header?

Time Of Day T/C in DPX Header?

...can you output DPX sequences from 4K 16:9 r3d with time of day t/c included in the DPX header metadata?

thanks,

David.

You've always been able to do this.

In the Library, Ctrl/Option-select clips and Trash them.

That doesn't work on my redcine. Maybe on scratch. I control select and when I hit trash nothing happens. That's what I get.

shift selct works for me - if that´s what you mean

Danke Kaya!
I create the REDcine folder in Library and now works...
Start testing...

Do we have to uninstall the previous version before installing the new? (PC)

Yes, it is very important to delete the old Redcine folder out of your Library (Mac) or Application Data (PC) before installing or reinstalling any build.
