Hi everyone,

first I like to extend a sincere apology to Jim and the entire fantastic RED team, of which I had the great pleasure to meet many of. I never intended to sale any of my reserved cameras, never.

#851 & #852 had found their home in the 3D company, to which they were promised few months back, so at last I have agreed to honor the initial agreement as it is only fair to do so,
and turned out as a win win situation for every one.

Coming to this agreement has turned out to be a great and beneficiary deal for both.

So once more thanks so much to you all for the support you have showed in this thread, truly appreciated!


A special thanks to the RED team, (HOME MADE LASAGNA ON THE WAY) especially on the sales dept. as they have been extremely patient with me.

No, I don't, that's why I was not happy with RED's initial policy on reservation holders, but as always RED demonstrated to wryly care about its costumers and changed the policy so that no one would loose their place.

This is the reason why I'm now selling the other two RED's, so I can get #349.

Real estate took a big hit here as well. When you come to Vegas, we still need to do that 2 camera stripper shoot. #300 is ready.:w00t:

Okay,

after seen an offer taken back I just edit the correction making the first offer stand again for the first camera.

Because of this I want to make sure each individual that makes an offer doesn't give up on his original offer, even when such offer is beaten, as the higher offer might not be fulfilled or might not even be a legit one.

I wryly need to sale this two cameras and I'm not looking to get a huge margin profit on them, just in off to complete the necessary quote to get #349 in my hands.

Best of luck on making a good profit on those cameras. Anyone with your positive mental outlook will pull out of these difficult times.

You could put up an Ebay listing even if you plan to actually sell ofline just as a way of marketing because not everyone interested in RED knows about this forum.

I much prefer to sale them to fellow members here @ REDUSER, I'm not looking in making the more profit as possible on this cameras, all I want is just sale them in a way were I have the possibility to get #349 out, thats all.

For now however both offers have requested to pay directly to RED which with such a little profit does not allow me to take #349 out, as I'm trying to get pay in full for them so I can apply the money to the financing deal I have with WBF so to get all cameras and accessories out at once, will see.

it would be great to get $27,500 per camera, not a penny more, but I consider all offers when such are legitimate ones.

I'm not looking for anything more then making a respectful agreement so that every one wins by getting their cameras.

Cameras must be paid in full before been shipped out, no deposit accepted, a deal is made, a full list of accessories created to go with each camera, payment must be received in full and camera ships directly from RED to the buyers address, as simple as that.

I have already had an offer for both cameras at $30,000 each but was required to only accept a small deposit and get the rest via a secure broker company via mail, this is not going to happen with me, sorry but I'm not that stupid.

BTW: the last comment has most absolutely nothing to do with your Q? Jashunter, but was directed at the offer received.

Ketch why did you not put up #349 when it's # was up? They were going for 30k-33k then.
 
Well jashunter you said to suggest a price I would be happy with it, so I did.

Nonetheless this is a buy it now price desired, but as said I'm willing to take any serious offer, well, seriously.

I didn't put #349 up for sale, first of all because that is the first reserved camera, lowest number, but most importantly it holds a moment in my life of a determined change in direction in a very drastic way, therefore holding a very hihg sentimental value as well.

Secondly, because I was not interest on making a profit selling my REDs, now is a different story, I'm doing so in the hope of been able to get #349 in my hands.

Again the buy it now pricing is more the maximum amount that I look to get and not the minimum, I just wish to make a fair deal to allow me to get my #349.

not really, because getting in line behind 2,000 others still waiting to receive their cameras could still be worth the price that ketch is asking. that's still bypassing a 3-month or more wait, which might be well worth it to a buyer with a potential client on the hook. someone with a RED# missed boat, for instance. if it sails too far away, you miss the chance to land the big fish!

in any case, ketch has already said that he's entertaining offers and posted a number as a guideline...good luck on the sale, ketch, hope it works in your favor. tossing some good vibes your way....
 
Gosh...It's hard to fathom someone would pay such a premium when you could rent a camera package for less than that premium to begin with. 10k extra for the body alone? I can rent a whole package for a month for less. Really. Anyone thinking about this must LOOOOVE the RED one. Anyway best of luck...to both the buyer and the seller.

I'm not sure I understand if your posts are just inquisitive or just trying to put me up as one that says one thing but actually only interested in taking advantage of the RED phenomenon so to make as much cash as possible at the expense of an other fellow REDUSER!


If this is your point you are dead wrong!!!


If you navigate the site you will see that I like nothing more then to help others, and also that I have made clear my current economical situation, and also you will find the several posts were I'm selling anything I can, at excellent prices, Also I put my house for sale. This so that I can get in off money to get my REDs.


As I, at last, had no choice but to list two cameras in order to get The one, I did so with great pain.


I know I'm Italian and therefore some times I might not make my point in the way that was intended, but again my intention it is NOT to take advantage of anyone, it is to give someone else the opportunity to get this REDs as well as giving me the opportunity to get my own RED.


If I totally miss understood your point, well then my apologies, but I don't like if people try to dress me up to be what I'm not!
