Hello all,
I am doing a Log and Transfer with FCP. Everything is set to REDCODE native and I have downloaded the plugins from RED. From what I have read and been told, the RED files are supposed to be converted to 2K when I do the log and transfer. My footage is a mix of 2K and 4K. The 2K that I L&T comes in just fine but all the 4K footage comes in as 3072x1526. This is making it very hard to edit. Without even a decent playback rate I am essentially editing blind.
can anyone clear up this problem for me?
