How about letting those of us loyal to the RED rebellion get first crack at visiting the RED booth at NAB. It would be great to have some access to you guys for those of us that are already dropping coin. Last year the lines and reservations to get to the booth were crazy. Perhaps advanced access option... private event? .... something? ... no better customers than those of us who already drank AND LOVE the kool-aid eh?

Great Idea !
My favorite Koolaid is RED !

I'm advocating a RED happy Hour at the Hard Rock Bar for hard core RED owners.
Jim any chance we can take RED camera deliveries at the NAB for reservation holders in the April delivery window?

How do quantify loyalty? Reservation holders? Seems like the only way I can see.

Last year at NAB, reservation holders were given nice big "Red Reservation Holder" badges. You could come and go in the booth without having to wait in line.

I still have mine :)

Anyone who purchased since NAB 2007 could simply present their name and ID at the booth, get a badge and come on in.

Of course, that's still over 2000 plus reservation holders so there may need to be another system. Scheduled appointments?

This is the Internet age, right??? Let's be civilized.

Of course a special party for us customers would certainly be in keeping with other companies :)

the problem is that if they gave us an early peak then word would leak out, they don't want the news out until Monday at 9am. They can't open at 8am due to floor rules. Granted, they could do a VIP list for the first few hours but that would go against the general nature of NAB. I would suggest Red hosting an exclusive reserve holder and VIP hosted party on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night!

I suggest that RED users (reservation holders too, obviously) host a VIP party, invite Jim and crew/clan, and make it the biggest thing that has happened at NAB in a long time!

I am in for $200. If we all pitch in, it could be incredible. Jim may, or may not, be made of money but I think we should do this for ourselves.......

Uh, I still would like the free pass to the NAB booth............ Jim?

The party or gathering idea is fun - even if it ends up being an unofficial "everybody meet at _________ Monday night at 7" kind of thing.

I wasn't aware of the reservation holders access last year - thanks what I'm talking about. 2000+ people are a lot although I'm sure not everyone is going to NAB. For a large group though this might be the first time they get to see their RED and or accessories live and in person. Since a good chunk of people will just be getting their cameras around that time I'm sure there will be many questions that could be answered in a group forum. This would save a lot of redundancy in the booth.

PLUS!!!!!!!!

How many companies will be jumping on the bandwagon with RED inspired solutions - It would be great to have a presentation and/or informational meeting - could save a lot of time on the floor.

Would it be appropriate for me to go to NAB? I'm only 19 but think it would be a fun experience checking everything out and meeting fellow REDusers.

Dude, if you've never been...it's a surreal experience for anyone their first time. I had a blast...and Vegas aint that bad either!

But im only 19. What can someone my age do? I really really want to go. Ive herd only good things about NAB, and I would also like to meet RED USERS. I feel all alone when i talk to my friends about movies, new scripts, and cameras. They just kinda are like uhhh okay does it look like i care? lol.
