Warranty Revisited, 6 or 12 months?

Hello,

The Red website currently states that the camera body warranty is 6 months, however Jim mentioned that was incorrect and that the warranty was for 12, but the site was never changed to reflect this. Could I get some clarification on this?

Similar to applecare..I would love to purchase an optional extended warranty.
