Should I add an equipment section to my website, listing the equipment we're using for production... including RED?

And what do you think about a page that shows what I've boughten with the money donated so far;

Or would you not find that to be a good idea?

P.S. I'm working on a new layout of the internet.... so it doesn't mess with the content.

As you previously stated about A-list actors, I don't think you should list anything until you've got it: that goes for talent, equipment, money, etc. It's very deceptive to tell people you're making a $multi-million movie when, more accurately, that's just what you want to do.

Also, couldn't all these questions about your project have stayed in the original thread? I don't understand why you keep deleting your posts; you're not going to bog down the server.

I would say that this might be an elaborate trolling job, but I don't know if I want to give this guy that much credit! :)

And it's posts like that, that make me leave forums.....

The Original thread was deleted.... and I assume you haven't seen the thread on my budget.... because it hardly has any responses.

You won't get much donations, people want to see money in the end. Films are not a charity-venture or you have to move to Germany where the government funds it.

Okay... then I have no chance of getting this funded. And no, I'm not dropping the budget. Guess I should just stay out of the industry afterall.

1. Stop deleting your posts and threads, it's really annoying.

2. Work on your grammar. People won't want to give you money for something that takes so much organization if they see the same type of errors that they get in penis enlargement scams.

3. Stop whining. It will show people that you won't be able to take on such a project which results in a lot more pressure, angry people, and you shutting down and trying to 'delete' (meaning people talking to you, and things you said) it, when you can't.

4. Like I said before, those comments about you trying to save the world just make you look more childish than making a website and asking for money when you have nothing to give or anything inspirational about your idea.

I'm sorry if you cannot handle the truth and it hurts, just say sorry and it will be ok. :)

I haven't deleted any posts since yesterday... all I've done today is correct posts, after I post and realize that I spelled something wrong or I missed a word.

That's great. I was just trying to read a thread yesterday and it began getting really confusing because parts of the conversation were missing.

Hmm... You know that stamping your name all over the imdb pofile as director, writer, producer, stunt choreographer, key grip, best boy, fluffer, second assistant gerbil wrangler and freelance Yak Masturbator just makes you look like an amateur, right?

If you are writing and directing, why on Earth would you need to take credit for doing Stunts, or set decorating?

(I did this in the title sequence for my first short film, but at least I was JOKING - and it was a student short...!)

Because I'm seriously doing all those jobs... I'm writing/directing/producing/editing/starring (doing my own stunts)/ among a ton of other stuff. I look like an amateur by knowing how to do multiple jobs in the film industry?....

Well, best of luck alienfx. I doubt you'll raise your 5 million, but have fun trying. Doesn't sound like you are anywhere near ready to handle that type of production budget though.

Sounds like the type of plan that is awesome at night over the 20th bong hit between friends, but in the morning, when reality kicks in, suddenly is not feasible...
