  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Seriously, come on. What are you trying to do to me?

Jim,
I understand that you are very busy and can't constantly give us updates, but you can't say that the lens mount is finished and not give us a status on the daughter board. Those are the two things holding up production. I don't need a new schedule, but could you let us know where the camera stands now?

We got real smart (not me, the board gods) and made the improvement without a new daughter board. That is finished and not the hold-up.

Now that the new lens mount design is finished, we are just beginning to go into production. The cameras are lined up waiting patiently... just like our customers.

Major improvements have been made to the firmware and other details during this last delay. All good news.

Jim

wow. so the improved latitude would be the same as having had the daughter board?

Great news Jim. Thanks for replying.

Looking forward to the improvements.

Wonder how many more cameras will be shipped before the end of the year. Perhaps up to serial number 300 or so?

Finally, we can say

"Everything in life is settled... including our camera specs and delivery dates..."

That is great news Jim...I am eager...very eager. Thanks for all the hard work, and by the way, can you put in a good word for me with the "board gods".

Holy Sh1t!

Sometimes I hate you guys!

Somehow that photo just made me even more patient which is kind of the opposite effect it should have. Actually being able to see cameras lined up, ready to go I feel like, okay we're getting close. I am curious about the daughterboard news. More details if possible.

Thanks,
Steve
