Downloading now from Red.com, you guys don't sleep do you?

OK, it's in the right place now.

A New feature is per shot input sharpening:
rc1.jpg

Doesn't seem to make any difference currently...

Footage now looks magenta(y). I copied the new version of Redcine over the old. I'm starting to feel like that was a bad idea. I've deleted all the settings in library/redcine and it persists. Is anybody else seeing the same thing?

I'm on a Macbook Pro with Leopard.

Hmm...seems to have a bug at output.
Here is my render screen:
rc2.jpg

And the actual output:
rc3.jpg

Uh, oh... I haven't tried it yet... I'll give it a shot here in just a bit.

Just found the same bug when I created a new project.

It's a bug in the DRX highlight function.
Try switching to the color panel and set the highlight to 0
That should fix the problem.

I see. Also, it looks like the default for highlight is 50 where as before it was 0. Thanks a lot.

I'm sorry but still quicktimes stopped at 1st frame (any codec)
And no frames sequences too.
I succeded only once with the first dpx sequence attempt with the previous version. Then end of the game for me. I cant even find the log folder. I know the quicktime issue is common (pc) but the sequences, i'm the only one. I cant even find the log folder...
In the meanwhile i've upgraded to quadro 4500.

So what is better about 1.0.1 ?

The log folder should be located in:

c:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/REDCINE/Settings/log

The file is REDCINE.log

The reason you may not be able to locate it is that you will need to go into your 'Folder Options' under 'Tools', select the 'View' tab and under folders, change the preference from 'Do not show hidden files and folders' to 'Show hidden files and folders.

As for your inability to generate output, have you tried changing the file name for subsequent tests? It may not be allowing you to rewrite to the same file name.

For anyone running RedCine under XP, I recommend that you look at this bit of information that I posted in a new thread. I solved an issue where, in my installation, RedCine was not utilizing all the available CPU cores.

It would be nice if they posted what they fixed and what the know issues are with each build - this is happening for REDALERT and for FIRMWARE - not for REDCINE - unless they have and I just didn't see them ...?

Working on that...

I've been trying to download it for a couple of hours without any luck, anyone else having trouble ?

You have to leave the #6.E (or whatever it says) in the name of the file. I made the same mistake myself... :-) It is in the notes, which I never read. Add your file name to the front of that and you are good to go.
