Hey Guys....
A mate of mine Andrew Johnson (MK V AR-Steadicam Op) has just finished the first RED feature here in OZ and he has sent me a link to a video interview done by the rental company LEMAC in sydney
, with part 2 & 3 to come........

thanks for that Paul...Really nice!

Dave,

might want to check the audio sync on that QT file.

Great info - thanks.

I am concerned with the comment about overheating. Most of my work is in the tropics where it gets into the 90's with 100% humidity in the summer months, so this is a real issue for me. Has anyone else had any problems with the camera getting too hot? And if so what problems?

Thanks.

Yeah.. overheating.. Jim has stated many times that it is not an issue. But this film would seem to contradict that. I wonder how hot and humid it was, how long they were recording for and which version of the camera/firmware they were using?

Thanks for that. Are my eyes going on me, or did the interviews and most of the broll seem soft? Anyone else get that?

Great video. Any idea what the ambient temp was that they started to have to use ice packs on the camera?

monitor?

monitor?

So what do you guys think about monitoring options?...Director out is soooo important, and a straight forward system would be great...
