While delays seem painful, there are a lot of great things happening around here. Not only is the image better and we have a terrific new lens mount almost finished, features are coming... fast and furious.

It should be a nice holiday season for RED users.

Always great to hear good news - Thanks!

Happy Holidays to you too, Jim and the gang!
I know you guys won't quit until.... well never. So keep making it better until I'm called to come get mine. It's gonna be a great new year with the Red.

Hopefully that includes a Nikon mount...(crossing fingers)

Jim, please give us footage or numbers of how the image is (even) better now!
I can't hardly wait to see (even) less noise and (even) more latitude. :)

Hi Jim,

Any chance of a sneak picture of the new lens mount or some clues about how the shimless feature works? How will this impact mount changes? I'm glad things are going well. Can't wait to see it.

Ok, I am confused. I see some people say that there is no "onboard audio" but the facts thread on this site states:
"Mini-XLR Audio Inputs – These ports provide phantom power for either line or mic input for four channels of balanced audio input. They are capable of recording uncompressed 16/24-bit audio at 48KHz. Pin-outs consist of ground, audio in [H], audio in [C]."

Someone please help me out here.
