  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I have the pro for you... His name is Brian Liston and he is out of Madison. Now, he also works as a local in Chicago so there is no difference in his fees.

I cannot recommend him enough... We just worked together on a four day Red shoot and he was fantastic in every respect. Very knowledgeable, great attitude and some very nice gear to boot. Brian is the first guy that I call when I need a great audio guy! He also understands the Red quite well...

Tell him Andrew Benz sent you and I think you will be very happy with the end results.

Also, if you need anything, I have a lot connections up here and am always happy to help.

I'm bidding a gig in Chicago the first of June, and I since baggage charges are so outrageous, I'd like to rent a Oconnor 2060 or 2575 Fluid Head, Ronford Standard Tripod, Ronford Bab Tripod, Arri FF4, Magliner 2 shelf cart and a Panasonic 17" monitor.

I've been told to go to Fletcher or Schumacher Camera, do you agree?
 
I do agree... The people at Fletcher are great, you will not be disappointed. Get in touch with them asap though, work is popping now that winter has left Chi-Town. I have not worked with Schumacher yet so I cannot comment. But I will say that I have not heard anything adverse...
