Hey there everyone, I've been mostly a lurker around here, but I've been contemplating purchasing a 2/3" Scarlet or possibly the fixed lens camera. Since this forum seems to have to be a veritable gold mine of cinematography expertise, I was wondering if you guys could recommend some good starting reading on the subject.
Also, on that note, I understand that the best way to learn is through experience and being around others who know what they're doing, so I was wondering if anyone here might be working on a feature this summer who might be looking for a set PA. I'm interested in directing/producing, so I figured this would be the best way to get hands-on experience. I wasn't really sure what the best way to find these types of jobs would be, and I'd be more than willing to forward my resume to anyone who would consider me - I do have some experience with the industry, as well as relevant skills. I originally had something lined up with Harold & Kumar 3, but after the news that Kal Penn was going to be working for Obama, the film got pushed back, so I'm now looking for something to do this summer. I am planning to head out to Los Angeles, so please let me know. Thanks to everyone in advance!
Cheers,
Kevin
