I've been searching through the forums and don't know if there is a proper answer out there on how to online the RED footage that was edited using multiclips in FCP.
My first attempt at this on my own led me to collapse the tracks as I would for a tape-based online, unfortunately it seems the XML information carries the multitracks connections even it is collapsed confusing things for reconnect and especially online in Crimson. It seems to online in Monkey Extract.
Other than Media Manager, which renames the clips with -v's and such, or overcutting the whole thing, does anyone know how to get the clips to point to just one file and eliminate the multiclip info in the timeline once and for all?
