I once recorded a voodoo ceremony in Benin,West Africa for a documentary. In order to get the gods goodwill a goat was sacrified. That goat´s spirit was supposed to be transfered into my DAT recorder (true story, no kidding. Its included in the Making Of, DVD commercially available).

I still have the machine.

Feeding it some hay from time to time....

Runs like a mule though....
