"Play" on Chrosziel Studio FF knob normal?

Just got a used (good condition) lightweight Chrosziel FF (it's the studio FF, but with only one knob.

Just wanted to see if a little bit of play is normal for this, or any other FF. The focus knob has about 2 mm of play, (or 1 to 2 degrees of rotation).

Obviously, this can mean life or death for an AC, or can it? If this is not normal, how do I fix it?
