  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

need to change RED file names...pleae help !

By mistake, I reset the reel name to number 001...so I have both reels with the same number.........in the second number 001 reel...can i just manually change the name of all of the files to 007, for instance ??????

Not easily no. But also I should mention that files within the two reels starting with 001 are uniquely identified by their last two digits... so you can renumber the reel number folder, and you shouldn't be at any risk losing any shots.

Best thing to make a mentally note to yourself and FORCE the camera to reset the reel number to the next + 1 unused reel number.

i.e if you are currently recording reel 6 then force it to reel 8 and think of the second reel 1 as if it were reel 7.
