La Petite Salon is my thesis film at Emerson College. The film is a twenty-minute, dramatic fiction narrative about a young Vietnamese American woman, Quynh, who works at her mother's hair salon where she is displaced within the Vietnamese culture and community. I am seeking to rent a Red Camera package, which would include:
1. RED One Body
2. Red LCD
3. Red EVF (when available)
4. RED Flash Module
5. Base Production Pack
6. RED Power pack w/ 2 Batteries
7. RED Raid
8. Shipping Case
9. Elite or Zeiss Lenses
10. Tripod
The four-day production shoot is between March 13th-16th. All shoot locations will be in the Bay Area, specifically San Jose. We have fiscal sponsorship, in which any potential equipment donation would be a tax write-off. Essentially, we are seeking a camera package at a reasonably student-friendly cost.
