Arri MB-19 lightweight 4"x5.65" Matte Box

This Matte box is ideal for film or video production. It can be used with the Red one and has the advantage of being lighter and smaller than the MB-20

The MB-19 is a compact, lightweight production matte box. It can accept 4"x5.65" filters and 4"x4" filters in the trays fitted. In addition there is a rear recepticle for an 138mm round filter. Ideal for mounting a polorizing filter. To simplify lens and filter changing the matte box swings out. The matte box can be moved back and forth with a lockable adjustment knob. A holder for secure mounting of french flags is included.

The MB-19 mounts directly on standard 15mm support rods. If you are using 19mm rods you will need the Arri adapter K2.47101.0.

Nice kit, Martin. Just to clarify, this mattebox is designed to fit lightweight 15mm rods. If one wished to use it with either 19mm or 15mm studio rods then an adapter would be required.

The numbers on the mattes refer to 16mm focal lengths. They can be approximately doubled in order to estimate the appropriate focal length on the RED One in 4K.
