try setting your white balance using the white balance picker and and a white object in the scene.

What colorspace are you set to?

wow that was fast, thanks!!

what i did was put a white card in front of the lens and i pressed the #1 button for white balance, this set it to around 8900, im wondering if i should white balance it before i turn on the reflecmedia green led lights, or with the rings of lights on?

should i be seeing the colors update on my lcd while shooting? because if i set tungsten or daylight the colors stay the same in the lcd.

Sounds like you might be in Raw monitoring mode.

In RA or RC, try adjusting the WB and tint manually. WB is sometimes adversely affected by green ambient light (although the reflecmedia screen could be having other unknown influences on the WB).

I'd also try doing test keys with diferent WB settings. Different keyers respond differently to different types of green and WB influences this.

when i set it to rec 709 and redspace gamma within redcine it looks perfect.. is there anything wrong with those settings? where can i learn more about gammas and color settings within redcine?

thanks again!!

Nice...

So is everyone cool now? I've heard people say that they're having problems getting a good key off of the red as well. I haven't had any problems and that was before redspace.

good keys? man im shocked by the quality of the keys..its really amazing,...
and very accurate, using nuke and primatte im having no problems with the slight reflecmedia halo, keys fine...

all is good in red vfx land

I've always shot the green screen at IRE 50 in rec 709. Any post guys think that it should be any different for red? I shoot in redspace view mode now. Does anybody have a different IRE level for that?
