Please advise....
In FCP, I'm synching a feature's worth of footage to sub-clipped audio files and creating merged clips.
Any red flags I should be aware of? What are the issues with using sub-clips and merged clips, if any?
Will edit from the merged clips. Will color and finish using these merged clips (which are 2048 X 1024 ProRes).
Also - Does anyone know how merged clips work with Crimson or even Scratch? I'm totally new to RED onlining. Even though we're finishing at 2048 X 1024 ProRes, I'd like the flexibility to online back to R3d later if needed.
