MacWorld did not bring new Mac Pro hardware and displays. Probably all these are coming up in the next weeks. Let us have a look what is now a new on the graphic cards market. Read more at

You will not need a high-end or kick-ass graphics card. I'm running it here with a GeForce 7300 GT 256 MB (*) which you can buy new for under $100.

* I'm not saying it will work with that card when it ships (that's why we are testing things and not giving you specs yet!)

I'd really love to see an AJA daughtercard for (or new version of) Kona that could handle REDCINE in realtime on the hardware and spit out live through the outputs from REDCODE RAW 4K or RC RGB 2K to any of the standard downconversions.

there is also some Open source graphic card, but I dont know how powerful but its open

I'm looking forward to the day we have graphics cards and displays that can show higher than 8bit color. At least ones we can afford.

indeed zeke!
