Encore DVD creation with copyright protection

I have a 2-year project I shot on the Epic which I'm burning to 6 DVDs. The DVDs will be sent to a plant for duplication. Obviously, I want to protect my work, but how will the duplication company duplicate the discs if I turn on CSS and set CGMS to "no copies are allowed" inside of Encore? I'm also selecting Macrovision Type III.

If you have any experience with copyright protection and DVD duplication companies, I could really use the advice.

CSS is added by the replicator when they make the glass master. It doesn't work on dvdr. It just an instruction to them basically.
You know you have to pay for macro vision per copy made right? Also set your regions.

Normally, you burn the ISO to a LTO then the factory make the glass master from that. They should really be telling you how to deliver, but i wouldn't want to send a master over on DVD-R personally. As for Macrovision and CSS, tell me anyone that can't crack a DVD these days? Give me any copy protected disc and i'll be able to copy it. If you want to pay for it, that's up to you, but if people want to crack it, they will.

Why bother though?

Freely available tools have been available which remove CSS for more than ten years now - stock VLC can decrypt them... Even AACS and BD+ (on Blu-Ray) has been broken.

Just curious, why DVD and not Blurays ?
