A Pro-IO Module might make my life easier on an upcoming shoot, and I'm considering buying one if I can get a very good deal. With other options now available to perform many of these functions, I believe the value has diminished, so I'm not looking to pay anywhere near list.

If you have one that you're not using and want to sell, (and you would like to see it go to a good home), please e-mail me, (I rarely check my PMs), with your best purchase price offer.

Many Thanks,
James Mathers

Just curious what the other options available are? I'm also looking at getting a Pro I/O. I'm still a n00b though.

Yes, what other options besides a +1 for only a second evf/LCD port? There's nothing else out there that does what this does.

I'm selling mine too but it's not going to be a bargain sorry. For me it's got to be around US$2750 for me to bother with otherwise I'll keep it. Having proper internal interfaces is a godsend in many shoots. Good decision to buy one...even if you only use it one 1/4 shoots.

Eric,
Other options I'm referring to are the RED +1 Adaptor Module, ($1250), for an additional EVF/LCD port, a 3BNC-To-00 cable, ($100) to access TC, Genlock/Sync, or adaptors such as the x A-Box, ($199) to input audio. Any of these options are far less expensive than the PRO I/O @ $3,750, and whether used alone or even in combination, they are also much smaller and lighter weight options.

Best,
James Mathers

You do loose the HDMI port with the +1.

But something I recently noticed on the W_Cam site was a nice 'C-Box' - video distribution amplifier and there's a version with V mount built in too. Quite interesting.

Still looking to pick up a Pro-IO for an upcoming shoot.

Thanks,
James Mathers
