Different Monitoring Setting for Focus Puller?

Hey guys. I'm just trying to figure out if it's possible to get different monitoring settings for the LCD and EVF. Specifically, I want the viewfinder to show normal redspace or maybe camera raw, while the LCD shows the black and white image with Edge Highlight. Any suggestions?

It's not currently possible and it's very doubtful that it will ever happen in the RED One. Simply put, there is not enough processing power in the current camera.

What about settings for the external HDMI monitor? If the camera operator wants to use the edge highlight focus assist, the director has to watch the scene like that? I think that would be very distracting.

Right now the video signal is global. Any effect is global. As in all outputs get affected the same. End of story.

We may not like it, we may want options, we may get them. However as of this very day it is global. Epic and new boards for the R1 will likely be the solution.
