  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I see this new thing in redcine: despeckle (in the look part). What is it for?
 
Don't quote me but I believe it helps clean up black and white footage. If that's the case then I guess it's intended for Monochrome footage.
 
It's in the Look Effects, in redcine-x pro 20.
It softens the footage. But I'm not sure it's the main purpose.
 
In mine it's between "unsharp mask" and "film look" and then you can choose 1, 2 or 3 passes
