Hey all -

Just had a bunch of gear stolen from our studio in San Diego, including our Red One (Ser # 4727), our 18-85 Red Pro Zoom, a bunch of Epic accessories (fortunately our EPIC was on a shoot, or it would be gone too), an Oconnor head, and a bunch of Canon L glass.

We're still evaluating the damage and will post serial numbers of everything when we have it all assembled. If anyone comes across anything fishy, please let me know.

Thanks!

That sucks :/ yes, please update us with a list and I'll keep my eyes and ears open as well... SD Unite!

I'm starting to wonder if all these stolen cameras are going overseas given the places that thefts seem to be occurring and if RED's oversea offices have ever encountered any of them being sent in for maintenance/repairs.

Hopefully RED is maintaining a database of stolen cameras that would trigger notification to the owner of record if it came in for repair.

Cheers - #19

I remember they said way back in the day that they wanted all information available whenever a camera and accessories were stolen, so I would assume they are doing just that, but they have never commented on the matter beyond asking for the information back then.
