I've tried multiple times to export one clip that's about 10,000 frames. I cut it into two 5,000 frame clips hoping that may help and had no luck. The error box is telling me that it's dropping about 70 frames but when i open the file it's less than 1000 frames total.

any help would be greatly appreciated

redcine dropped frames

redcine dropped frames

I set REDCINE to export a couple hours of footage of clips of lengths between 5 secs and 5 mins. Not one of the 5 min. clips exported correctly. By the time it was over I had 90 dropped frame errors. Any clip under 1 min. exported perfectly. the rest just ended early - like 30 seconds in or so - I am running a Mac on the latest Tiger release. The problem 'could' be tied to the fact that I was rendering it to a volume on the network but the files were not capped at 2GB because they ended at all sorts of different times but none of them were over 2GB. I'm not sure if it just quit eventually and that only the longer clips happened to still be exporting by the time it dropped the frame or if it is the network or if it is just another REDCINE problem. If it's gonna be soooo slow it should atleast work correctly.

I've dumped several hundred thousand frames through REDCine overnight more than once. Several of the clips were greater than 10,000 frames. if anything our "limit" has been the general stability of the program itself.
