Hello,

After reading some posts arguing that it's not possible to shoot ENG style with the Epic, I decided to make a video of my 9kg Epic documentry setup.
Sorry for the quality of the video, as it's shot on the Itouch of my son ;-)

See you.

That looks very manageable!
I noticed the Mecasax top fan plate and watched the videos of your sound comparisons. Its sooo much quieter!

Nice, I also have a bar connected to a belt. I just like to have the camera infront of me instead of balanced of the shoulder. I think I seen one of your earlier rigs as inspiration.

Hello Joel,

My setup is slightly front heavy, about 20% front and 80% shoulder.
It's the weight necessary to feel something in your hands. I can easely balance it with one hand. Sometimes I use my right hand to grab the lens to change the iris while the left hand is on the small knob handle and does the focus. I can lean back against a wall without touching the battery and the setup is as large as my shoulders. So it's probably the most compact setup I've seen. I use the ENG rig only for "tripod" type of interviews (more than 15 minutes) when the director wants a handheld camera feeling.
