Camera shuts off when Anton Bauer runs out instead of switching to Redvolt in SH

Hey guys,

Been running into this problem where my camera is shutting down when my Anton Bauer runs out, rather than switching over the the Redvolt in the side handle. Of course, I try to limit this to times of necessity anyways to help with charge times, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue before and what I might be able to do to prevent it.

My friends scarlet does this all the time when switching from red brick to redvolt. It can never hot swap or switch. So it's not a Anton issue to me. I would file a ticket to get the issue fix.

It's not the battery but which battery plate you're using. I have no issues using a genuine Anton bauer plate. What are you guys using?

I tried my friends IDX plate and my RED vmount plate and still does not hot swap or stay on for his body. Both plates can hot swap on my epic just fine. Tried different side handles also.

I had a similar issue where I couldn't swap from the power supply to the side handle REDVOLT. I ended up sending the side handle to RED and they fixed the problem. I guess if you've tried different side handles which have been known to work on other cameras, then this approach may not help you.
What happens when you pull the power supply instead of the external battery?
