  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Filter suggestions to get a mild blooming highlight rolloff effect similar to Alexa.

I need to approximate the look of some previously shot Alexa footage on a piece I'm shooting this weekend (Epic and Alexa will be intercut). Which softening filter will best approximate the "Alexa Look" when shooting on Epic. I was thinking something like a 1/4 low con or 1/4 classic soft.

The 1/4 Low Con has been mentioned a lot on several comparison threads as approximating the Alexa look. It will vary somewhat depending on lens focal length as filters in front of the lens behave differently than a filter in front of the sensor behind the lens.
