[SOLD] Zeiss Contax 28mm/f2.8 Cine-modified with Leiax EF Mount

[Tom Greenberg]

I'm selling a very clean example of the popular Zeiss Contax 28mm f2.8 lens. This particular lens is an AE version (serial number #6757243), made in Japan. It has already been cine-modified by Peter at RP Lens. That means that the aperture ring has been declicked and dampened, a custom-cut pressed-on Delrin lens gear has been fitted, and an aluminum 80mm front has been installed.

The lens also has been converted to permanent Canon EF Mount with a rock-solid Leitax stainless steel mount.

NOW $575 (New price 10/31/13) PM me here or email to: tom.g (at) compass.edu. Payment via PayPal. Buyer pays shipping. Prefer North American sales only.

I also have an 85mm/f2.8 Zeiss Contax for sale here:http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?103594-Zeiss-Contax-85mm-f2-8-Cine-modified-by-RP-Lens

Great lens! Don't forget FF 28mm lenses should start to get in higher demand now... as their FOV at 6K on Dragon will be comparable to a 21mm at S3mm (ie at 5K Dragon).

Thank you, Chris! </blush>

Of course, I'd have to say the same about you...I've bought items from Chris and they've always been perfect.

Just did business with Tom awhile back (bought his allstar contax adapters), he's an awesome guy, super helpful, honest, and everything was in tip-top shape, and packed super well. Definitely one of the golden redusers to buy from!!

This lens is awesome. Very hard to get a 28 2.8 Contax that looks that good. And Leitaxed and fully modded!

Thanks, Joshua and Nick...your comments are both much appreciated! This lens is super-clean and makes gorgeous images...
