  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

[FS: RED Gear] 5 MX bodies, Red Bombs, Red Pro Monitors, Red Bricks, etc

Just a heads up guys, I just rolled into LA today. I realize I gave everyone a ship date of the 10th which is actually Saturday and not possible. I'm going to try my best to get this all out Friday for anyone that's paid but that depends on our shipment of packing material coming in, our label printer, etc. I'm kind of working on a light setup right now while we get moved to a new office. So we're going to try our best to get it all out one day early on Friday. Otherwise it will go out first thing Monday.

Heads up guys... I got in today and we went through everything pretty thoroughly. Good news and bad news. The dead body isn't dead at all. It's very much alive and working properly. They appear to have swapped battery packs and assumed it was not powering up. It works just fine though. The bad news: one of the Red Bombs appears to have a dead backlight. It's odd to me. The backlight flashes when it's plugged in but doesn't come on. The image is barely viewable. I'm going to take the defective unit to RED tomorrow to look at however I suspect it's going to cost more to repair than we can sell it for. So if anyone wants to make an offer for it as is feel free.

Only one person paid for a Bomb but I have two others who are accounting for the remaining two. I will contact you both in the order you contacted me. I have a list 4 people long for the Bombs now, only two to sell and one that's paid for. So I will contact the two people who I'm currently holding these for. I will give each person 24 hours from the point at which I email them to respond with some sort of assurance that they do/ don't want it. If I don't hear from them or they decline I'll move onto the next person. This seems like the fairest way to handle this.

Meanwhile, these are the exact bodies we have so if you're looking or you've contacted me and said you want one, this is what we have. The cameras listing the X-Y Mounts have ScreenPlane's X-Y adapter on them. This allows you to (you guessed it) move the mount on it's y and z axis' so that when using a zoom lens the image is always centered. This adapter, while very expensive, eliminated the lens electrical contacts on the PL mount. You still have access to them (just pop off a little door and the plug is there) though they are not actually built into the mount. So choose wisely. More info on the mount here:
