Hello, all.
I'm selling this Canon FD lens mount for the RED ONE camera.***EXTREMELY RARE ITEM*** It's the KHMuse mount, and very few of these were ever made. It has the ability to mount any inexpensive and high quality FD lenses on your RED ONE camera. It does not add any glass between the lens and the camera, so you don't lose any light or optical quality when using FD lenses.
Everything is in perfect working condition, looks brand new.
It comes with the FD mount, all the tools and screws needed to install the mount, and a detailed, full-color instruction manual. See below for pictures.
NOTE #1: This mount is not approved or endorsed by RED, so install it at your own risk.
NOTE #2: This mount only works with FD lenses, not EOS or EF lenses.
That said, there's no better way to add super-high-quality lenses to your RED ONE for very little money. FD lenses are sold on eBay for peanuts, and provide superior optical quality with excellent all-manual focus and aperture rings. They're the best bang-for-your-buck lenses available, and now you can use them on the RED ONE camera!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
If you purchase this FD lens mount, I'll also throw in a Leica R mount for the RED ONE for FREE! It was made by Long Valley Equipment, OEM supplier of lens mounts to RED. This mount is a prototype, so it's one of a kind. It comes with 4 mounting screws and wrench for installation. The mount itself is a bit scratched up, since it was a one-off prototype, but that doesn't affect image quality in any way. See photos below.
AND ONE MORE THING!
I'll also add a hood for the RED 5.6" LCD monitor from LCD4Video. It's in absolute mint condition, and attaches to the monitor with the included straps (no need to glue anything to the monitor). You can probably use it on other monitors in this size range as well, but it's designed for the original RED 5.6" LCD. It quickly flattens out for easy transport. See photos below.
Price: $489 for the whole package (both lens mounts and monitor hood combined)!
For the price of the RED Nikon mount you get a rare FD mount, an even rarer Leica R mount, and a monitor hood!
