Hi there...

1st off; we're pretty happy with our V-Mount solution - it's performing as it should and there's no reason to change that system...

Anyways; browsing eBay I just stumbled upon this little cable here;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/V-mount-Ant...Scarlet-Epic-Power-Supply-Cable-/261244919932

It's always good to have backup-solutions in case a cable, plug or v-mount plate breaks (had this happening before) and this would fit pretty well as we have V-Mount bricks with D-Tap and the right capacity (130Wh). Since it's from China I doubt it's RED-approved in any way but maybe somebody has 1st hand experience with these... And for that price; the lemo connector alone would be worth it I guess? If anybody has an opinion to share feel free to do so - as said I'd only use it as a backup solution anyways.

Of course, this could be absolutely fine and well made, but be careful of cheap, possiblly inferior Lemo connector clones - they look like the real thing, but the internals can potentially twist with respect to the outer shell resulting in sending power to the wrong pins!

Also be sure to check their wiring is correct for the same reason!!

Hey Vincent-Can you post a link for that cable product?Thx

This is currently a custom solution. Here is an image for your review. Contact me for any further information needed.

Would you do a 2-pin Lemo to D-Tap Female to use as a breakout from the new short battery plate (that only has 2-pin Lemo outputs for accessories)?

Got mine yesterday, and it seems pretty legit... also, since then they've come down in price on ebay - you shouldn't be paying more than $50. Maybe the price-fixing amongst lemo distributors has finally begun waning?

Mine arrived. Tested, works fine. Seems like a real Lemo.

Not really proof, but does it say LEMO on the connector - lettering should be in the correct font, and very crisp and precise? I'm sure you have other Lemo cables like the display ones, so it should be easy to compare quality of manufacture.

Is it from the chinese brand or from Switronix, Inc. ?
Thank you.
