I was at NAB this year and was the very first person to pre-order the Black Magic Super 35mm 4k Cinema camera. I'm on the top of the list of the distributor who will get the very first shipment of cameras or at least so I'm told. I'm now going a different direction and am looking to sell the two cameras. As I understand it, Black Magic will be shipping this camera late next week, and I should get it the week after that. Of course given Black Magic's history there is absolutely no guarantees but assuming this schedule is held, I should have a camera ready to ship within two weeks.

These cameras will be brand new sealed, with original receipt for warranty purposes. I will offer overnight shipping and possibly even fly to your location to hand deliver the camera for cash.

If anyone is interested make me an offer.

You know you can just return them right? It's a new order, you should be able to cancel or return no problem.

Yes, I know. I'm not asking MSRP, I was hoping to get more than that. After Black Magic's last camera, I imagine they will not ship too many, so to get one of the very first ones will cost extra. If you were to try and buy a Scarlett or Sony 4k package at very least you are looking at $20k, so I was hoping someone who needed to shoot 4k in the near future would be willing to pay a few thousand over list price.

Perhaps that's horribly opportunistic of me, but in the end I'm top of the list, and I figure why that go to waste, let someone in need of 4k now get it for a bit more and I can help pay for my pocket cam. Obviously most people can wait, but those who are shooting now, there aren't many cheap 4k options, so here is there chance to get it now rather than later.

I'm probably selling mine too when I get it. One of the top 4 pre-orders through Omega Video. I would cancel but put down a non refundable $200 deposit. I would only expect an extra $500-$1,000 premium from someone wanting it ASAP. But I can also see selling it at the price I paid + shipping ;)
