  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fashion Commercial Shot on Epic, as usual

Patrick, for the daylight scene, we used kino's. Its been a while but I think we used a parabeam off to the right of scene for the sidelight and a diva as a front key, but it really was more fill than key as the sidelight was 2 stops brighter.
For the scene right after, we used a projector that projects a water surface pattern. We used an arri 150 snooted with a roscolux 342 pink as our key.
In the hallway, we used 2 laser projectors behind the model, and the 150 again as key.
Quite simple.

Great, thank you Nathaniel!
The simplest setups which produce a great look are always the best to know ;)

I was wondering if these weren't lasers in the second half but I thought : nah probably not... Too dangerous for the sensor - guess I was wrong :) since the lasers were seemingly pointing right at the camera how did you deal with that? Without risking trashing the sensors.

Cheers!

Sally Cinnamon! Haven't heard that track for an age. Lovely visuals too. Great to see that lasers don't affect the Red rolling shutter aussi.

Nice one!
