  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LAUSANNE'S CATHEDRAL SHOT ON EPIC

Truly, madly, deeply gorgeous. Congrats !

Any info about the support gear, tripod, slider, please ? Thanks and carry on this way, it will be a great movie !

Ivan,

Really great work! You showed us some places we never see usually.

True that the Lausanne Cathedral is inspiring for an Hollywood film. The roof is also amaizing and the sunset shot that we can make from the top of the Rue Caroline is also very astonishing.

Also an intriguing feeling is that old stone and thoses light effects throug coloured windows without any human beeing in that space. Only history and legends.

Keep on doing this work.

Magnificent work, Ivan. The wide shot at 3:00 tracking up the aisle is amazing. The blast of sunlight in the center of the frame looks like the Deity is standing at the alter. Bravo!

Peter, there won't be any more need to say "do you think?" soon, as I plan to add some more stills of my Red vs Film shoot of the same scene.
Let's settle this once and for all.

Ivan: Nice church shots! Snow gave it a special 'chill' for me. I always watch peoples demos with the sound turned off to avoid emotional sway , and yours still worked great for me silent.

This is EPIC Ivan! Congrats... So much for the DR talk on the Dragon Update thread. Sanjin? Peter? Do you think the above imagery would be possible on 35mm film? (and I bet this is without HDRx)

Ivan,

Looks Great!

Was it all available light?
